In the role of Transportation Engineer, we will count on you to:
Transportation network analysis, modeling, and spatial analysis for private and government clients.
Traffic impact analysis, traffic data collection and analysis.
Prepare transportation studies for corridor studies, statewide and regional plans.
Day-to-day communication (verbal and written) with the client, write reports and technical memos, keep project on schedule and within budget.
Make decisions on design and engineering procedures as needed.
Conduct independent research on transportation issues
Carteographic analysis and custom geospatial map development.
Prepare monthly reports and summarize findings of the analyses from recent traffic, revenue, and economic studies.
Perform other duties as needed.
BS/Ms. in Civil Engineering
0-2 year of relevant experience.
EIT certification
Valid driving license.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and ability to use civil engineering analytical tools.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to contribute and work well on a team.
Familiarity with transportation projects, engineering standards and state or federal construction policy.
Effectively manage tasks and strict deadlines with independence.
Ability to interact with colleagues in a self-managed team structure.
Must be able to multitask, problem-solving, and implement innovative processes within a fast-paced environment.
